"In June 1979, a major exhibition, intended to travel afterwards, will be inaugurated at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. The details of its contents are unclear to Hergé, but its designers explained to him that it would juxtapose the mythical objects collected by Tintin over the course of his adventures with the real objects that inspired them. On the exhibition poster, Hergé attempts to orchestrate the incursion of his principal characters right into the middle of an imaginary installation liable to drive all collectors mad with jealousy."
