"In June 1979, a major exhibition, intended to travel afterward, will be inaugurated at the Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels. The details of its contents are unknown to Hergé, but its designers explained to him that it would involve comparing the mythical objects collected by Tintin over the course of his adventures with the real objects that inspired them. On the exhibition poster, Hergé attempts to organize the incursion of his principal characters right in the middle of an imaginary installation liable to drive all collectors mad with jealousy."
