Searching for Rackham's Treasure - Hergé Comic Book
€14,00
The true Treasure of Red Rackham, created in black and white by Hergé during the thrilling serial publication in Le Soir, had never been released as an album. In the color version edited and printed by Casterman in 1944, the author reorchestrated the original 183 strips, cut some panels, expanded many backgrounds, and corrected the dialogues, sometimes smoothing the popular flavor of the speech bubbles.
The quest for the Treasure of Red Rackham invites the reader behind the scenes of the complete and original work, tracing the authenticity. From one panel to another, the authors meticulously sought to see and understand how and why Hergé meticulously altered the face of his story.
